Questions surrounding this week's weekly competition? (2026-33)

[White KB]

I see that this week's scrambles for the weekly competition have not been posted. This is the first time that I've seen this in the 9 years I've been on the site, but I am curious as to these few things:

1. Has this ever happened before?
2. If it has, how long did it take for scrambles to be posted?
3. Is there an estimate as to when scrambles will be posted this week?
4. What are the inner workings of the scramble system for the SpeedSolving weekly comp? I've always been a little curious. I would love to know when they are usually generated and whether they are manual or automatic, etc.

Uh anyway thanks!

1. This has happened before
2. Scrams are usually posted later today or tomorrow
3. See #2

Ive seen them not posted about three times before and they are usually posted later in the day.

I am sorry - I forgot I was not ahead on this and I was a couple of hours late. They are posted now.

pi=3.14 is correct; this has happened quite a few times before; fortunately I check new posts pretty often, so when it happens, I usually notice quickly. You can just send me a PM if you see it happen and that will probably be enough to get me to post them.
