I have been having pain in the joint of my left index finger should I give cubing a break for a bit and try to let it heal? (I used to crack my knuckles a bunch and it started to cause pain in my fingers so I stopped. But I don't think it fully healed:()

Should I switch to a specific Roux block for a while to get better at block building? I started off being block neutral and would start with a 1x1x2 block and extend but recently have been making some interesting blocks (that result with a 5-9 move count)

Should you try to preserve pairs for the right block during building of left block?

Any way to get better at right block? (Besides practice, anything specific?)

Are R U' sets good for increasing TPS for one handed? (my fingers feel slow in general)

Take a break for a little while, or at least cut down on your cubing until it gets better.

Rest for a while

I would say if you feel any pain at all, take a break. That's hard if you are addicted... And I certainly did not apply that rule in every situation (and I never had any serious issues with it) , but be careful. When you cube, be sure to relax physically during cubing, and take brakes frequently.
