i wan to ask about extended cross , should i stick to normal solve F2L or learn the extended cross? If i should where do i learn it?

And if i lube my cube can i play with it or i must leave it for a certain time then only i can start playing

i cant seem to look ahead when doing F2L... i do it to fast i cannot even see where is the next piece. I do practice metronome and i can keep the beat but if i practice fast i cant look ahead. if i practice metronome will i automaticaly know how to look ahead? Is there a tempo sequence for metronome like 60 - 90 - 120 - 180?

sorry if my questions are stupid

I would say stick to normal f2l. If you want do x-cross I would say switch all the way to block building. I am thinking of switching over myself. If you want to learn go to Chris Hardwick's page on Speedcubing.com
All the tutorials on lubing your cube I have seen where they take the cube apart they let the pieces dry but if you just open one edge and spray in the cube you should play with it right away or the cube will dry sticking the pieces together. If I don't play with my cube right away the lube will stick the pieces together so good it takes a large amount of force to separate them.
Force yourself to look ahead. Even if you have to pause mid pair to find the next one. Start off so slow you have time to see the pieces between turns then very slowly speed up..

In regards to your lubing question...

Personally i take it apart, spray one side of the pieces... leave for 15 mins, dot he next side, leave for 15 mins then do the next side. Then when i remember i put it back together againa dn can start using it straight away.

Why do people need so many cubes like 10 3x3x3...
Multiple blind!

I always bring 3 of each puzzle with me to a tournament.
1: The actual puzzle I will be using during the competition. My best.
2: The puzzle I will be using in between competition solves to keep focussed. My second best and also replacement cube in case of puzzle defects
3: The puzzle I won't be using, unless I have a puzzle defect. Most of the time this puzzle will not be used by me, but by someone else.

And for multiple blind I always bring 5 identical cubes with me.

Because I compete in almost every event I have a big bag with
3 x 2x2x2
3 x 3x3x3 + 5 x 3x3x3
3 x 4x4x4
3 x 5x5x5
2 x Magic
1 x Master Magic (I only own one)
1 x Clock (I only own one)
2 x Pyraminx
1 x MegaMinx (I only own one)
2 x Square-1
Lube, Glue, Stickers and other stuff
Special puzzles, like Skewb

If i Metronome and go slow when i dont have the metronome for 1 week without going fast but only slow... will it help me?
