Some beginners questions

I thought I was never gonna be able to use my left forefinger, but I just did R U R' U' for 15-20 min a day for a week. If that's not the problem, then your cube must be really slow. Just order one from popbuying.

I was bored yesterday, so I learned Roux. I is fun, but I don't like the 1x2x3 blocks.

Just decided to learn Roux later, and learn all 2-look OLL algorithms now.

Tried them, and they speed up the beginners method ALOT, cause for instance, if I had a sune, I'd be performing the R U R' U R U2 R' algorithm 3 or 4 times, which is not needed anymore using the 2-look OLL.

The only thing left now is learning the algorithms, which seems harder than when I first started cubing. The main reason is because I can't get the same case every time, so I can't learn one algorithm a day. Even with the same scramble, I still get random cases.

Any tips on learning the algorithms?

Thanks for the tip. I was thinking about the following: solve the cube lots of times like I used to, but looking at the 'cheat sheet' for the OLL algorithms. Won't I learn it automatically after a few days of doing that?

If you're talking about 2look OLL then likely yes. Still I'd recommend learning one every day, and looking at the "cheat sheet" when one you don't know comes up. Then after a week when you've learned all of them practice execution and recognision.

I'll do it that way. Thanks! :D
