slow on stackmat and fast on timer

hey guys

i am sub 4 on 2x2 with the cll method

the problem is that when i start using stackmat my times are more than 4.5 and my average is terribe but when i use the spacebar as a timer i am sub 4

While using the spacebar, do you start your solve with your hands on the cube or do you place both your hands on the spacebar??

Stackmat is pretty much what you should be using for events like 2x2. It shows you what you should expect to average in a competition, and it helps you get better with pick-up time. If you're starting with your hands on the cube, like mentioned above, that's not a good habit.

If you have a stackmat you might as well use it for all events, it gives you a better idea of what you would get in a comp...you're already lucky to have a stackmat [emoji14]

I would use stackmat all the time and try and improve your times from there.
