Should I start a petition to bring the mirror cube to the WCA

It has come to my attention that the WCA needs to add something new, no one except the best will ever be able to beat WR because they keep getting better at the same rate as us. I am asking if I should put a petition together to add the mirror cube.

If there is some other cube that you think would be good instead please put it down and I will do a poll on that. (do not put WF I'm not doing that they removed it because no on e liked it)

clock is the BEST event and also I don’t really think that the WCA shouldnt remove events since that would make some people that practice the event quite angry

those are different since its 3x3 and 3x3 if basically the first cube to ever get created (apparently the pyraminx was made first but not mass produced) and it could have spinoff events

Isn't the point of a World Record that only the best of the best get it?
I know cubing is already very dependent on a group of people fast enough just waiting for that one lucky scramble and the WR single therefore sometimes going to maybe a subpar cuber(FMC that one time, 2x2 that one time, other examples), so I doubt adding another highly luck based event would improve that situation.
3x3 being the cube this whole hobby(was gonna write sport just to see a war start) is centered on, it's natural there are variations of it, but FMC, BLD, OH to a part have a difference in the actual solving process.
FMC, Blindsolving and Speedsolving have very different goals and their solving conventions reflect that. OH at least utilizes different Algorithms(and Roux for some years) but Mirror Blocks would literally be the same solve.

There are good candidates for a new event but we need to remember Worlds and continentals are already days-long events. If the WCA were to add 17 new events, who has the means of organizing a such an event, let alone attending it to the fullest?

Kibiminx, 2x2 OH, and 2BLD. Simple to integrate, 2BLD might be a problem due to one looking to create fast singles, but kibiminx 100%

Even if you did do a petition it would no nothing.

The wca are probably tired of hearing this time and time again. The mirror cube is also not super original, as it is essentially a 3x3. FTO would be a much better addition, (although we would need new hardware desperately)

theres a chance that none of these would be in the wca since i think we should only have spinoff events for 3x3 since its the original puzzle and kilominx has a much higher chance but still something really similar to megaminx so maybe not

nxn's should be allowed since 3x3 is the original and is an nxn so the same goes for 2x2, 4x4, 5x5, 6x6, 7x7
