Hey,i recently learned full pll and my average varies from 24-26 seconds. You may already know but i use 2-look OLL and i may be able to hit sub-20 if i learn all the olls. so do you think olls will help me there??? And if you get those kind of times without FULL OLL tell me please.
Thank you

Of course you should learn them. It doesn't have to be quickly, it's taken me months to learn them and I'm hardly past halfway, but it really does help. Learn the easier cases first, then gradually make your way to full OLL. I've averaged sub-20 knowing about 20 OLLs.

From what I've seen OLLs can only break about 2 seconds. It's probably your F2L that needs more work. How about a breakdown of your times for each step?

I still use 2 look OLL and full PLL and I average around 19. F2L is the key, learn all the cases

I just generated some algs that, when you have solved all but one edges of the F2L, solves that last edges, and orients all the others. If you would be interested in them.

yes, i tried to learn all the oll for almost 6 months now, and im still trying to learn them all, im too lazy to learn all of them, now i still have around 5 more to go

If ELS is the edge part of MGLS, then yea, it's pretty much the same thing, only it preserves the FDR corner. There are 17 cases, not counting the standard LL edge orientation. The average move count is exactly 9 moves HTM.

I can post the algs if anyone want them.

2 edges disoriented:

UF UR- U R U’ R’ U2 F’ U2 F
UF UB- U F R’ F’ R F’ U’ F
UF UL- U R U R’ U’ F’ U’ F
UF FR- F R F’ U’ F’ U F R’

UR UB- R2 U2 F R F’ U2 R’ U’ R’
UR UL- U’ R2 F’ U F2 R’ F2 U’ F R2
UR FR- U2 F’ U’ F U R U R’

UB UL- U R’ F2 R2 F U2 F’ R2 F2
UB FR- F’ U2 F U2 R U R’

UL FR- U2 F’ U F U R U’ R’

4 edges disoriented: (All but)

UF- U2 F’ U F R’ F R2 U R’ U’ F’
UR- U’ F2 U2 R’ F’ R U2 F U F
UB- F2 R U’ R2 F R2 U R’ F2
UL- F’ U’ F’ U2 R’ F R U2 F2
FR- U F U R U’ R2 F’ R F’ U’ F

FR Edge correctly placed, not oriented:

UF FR (Are bad)- R U’ R U2 F R2 F’ U2 R2
UF (Is good)- R U R’ F U2 F2 U’ F2 U’ R’ F’ R

It took my about 30 minutes to generate them.

And I am calling this L5EO. Last 5 Edge Orientation.

I think this is a ZBF2L case, I might be wrong though.

On-topic, I finished learning the OLLs recently, and I think it's helped me break sub 20. At ~25 though, your time would be more effectively spent on F2L.
