Should I buy cube4you core for F-II?

I recently bought a type F-II and I love it but I heard the core is very fragile and can break easily. Does anyone have any opinion on this? I was thinking of buying a cube4you core and using that because they are cheap and durable but I have no idea if that would work well or work at all. Will this affect the quality of the cube?

no

Nothing is wrong with the original core.
But if you want a contingency, that's fine.
Cores don't have that much effect on the cube, really.

Well, I'm have an FII and a C4U core on their way (for that very purpose). From what I've heard, the white FII cores are pretty strong, but the coloured ones are breakable (doubt this is true though). I don't want to take a chace, so I'm giving my friend the FII core to replace his AII core. I'll let you know if it turns out good.

Thanks. I was thinking of buying a few cubes anyway so I might buy one to use as a backup but I won't replace it until I need to.

With my FII, the core split in half one time when someone dropped it from 5 feet. I used superglue on the core and it has worked fine for me ever since. I think the FII cores are weaker than most cores, but not something you have to worry about if you treat your cube well.

i've found that putting a cube4you in some of my cubes have restricted it's corner cutting ability; type-a1, taiyan-II, type-c1

How does the core effect the corner cutting? Were they adjusted exactly the same, and do you know how much? Or do you just think that it feels like less?

I think I'm going to buy two cores and a type a screw and spring set thing. I'll keep one core as a backup for my f-ii and use the other along with the screws and springs to mod my storebought into a DIY using pestvic's method.

I dropped my fII from about five feet up and the core split in half. I tried putting a c4y core in to replace it, but it really does not feel nice at all. It's really loose and locky. I think I'm going to try glueing the original core back together.

Haha I just think it feels like less.. I mean after 3 cubes one might wonder if it does affect it right?
