Share some underrated speedcubes!

I main the moretry tianma x3 snap over uv wrm v9, uv ys3m, tornado v3… it really gives me confidence when spamming tps because of the insane reverse corner cutting over line to line.

Aoyan skewb is still the 2nd best skewb on the market imo, way better than the weilong. Weilong and rs perform okay, but these just feel bad for me. Ofc gan is by far the best when it comes to skewb. Aoyan is still my backup as it corner cuts better than the wingys (even after I made my wingy v1 maglev) and feels reliable unlike the weilong and rs which are just too flexible for my likings.

Another underrated skewb is cyclone boys magnetic skewb. It was my very first magnetic puzzle back in the days when I didn’t even have a 2x2, and even though its not as gd as the aoyan and gans, it definitely feels a lot better than the weilong and rs. Comes in glossy plastic and primary internals and doesn’t feel budget at all like the weilong. Cyclone boys magnetic skewb is still the best budget skewb on the market imo.

DaYan GuHong v3 M. Not talking about 3x3 as it just not work with both hands. However, it’s the best mid range option for OH imo. 54mm in size, good M slices and fast turning, and it’s extremely smooth. My OH back up as I’m maining the UV Coated gan mini M Pro for OH.
Guhong V3 is good as long as you don't mind it being a bit loud. Also don't make the mistake my friend made of buying the V4 instead of the V3 (cue the sound of a centerpiece breaking). The Cyclone Boys Magnetic is loud but I prefer the RS. It's okay tho and has the nice upside of that glossy plastic. The Aoyan is a good skewb and still has its place with the Weilong and the RS lineup. It's like the GTS3M of Skewbs: interesting grip system, heavy, not widely used but once was, great corner cutting, has a solid, heavy turning feel, and sits at around 30 doubloons. The MoreTry had a bad reception but was great after the prototypes were tweaked. I agree with all of these except for the Cyclone Boys skewb.

My guhong v3m is not loud at all, it’s pretty much as quiet as the tengyun v1. The aoyan is way better than the weilong and rs imo, with similar corner cutting and way better grip. The weilong and rs plastic just feels bad. Even though the Cyclone boys is not as gd as the aoyan and wingys, it’s definitely better than the weilong and rs skewb and is the best budget skewb. Cyclone boys is just half the price of rs skewb maglev and is better. The rs maglev just not worth the same price as the wingy v1.

i still say that the senhuan zhanlang was one of the greatest 2x2s of all time. despite its fragility, its a shame more people haven't invested. its really soft, a bit clacky, very controllably fast with its plush feeling, and useable in nonmagnetic and magnetic forms. i think cubezz is the only place to get it now, after my old ones broke i got two more from there and i think its on clearance

haha just "GAN", love it!
Underrated speedcube, the Tengyun V1, people apparently hate it... @White KB , care to explain?
i never hear that much hate about it, i know that alot of people loved it for bldsolving. i used to have one and i plan on getting it back in both shades. despite its age and lack of modern adjustability features, its fantastic and holds a candle to many later flagships. a nice options for those who still prefer heavier quieter cubes, just know how to set up cubes well and youre good. dayan kinda killed the hype with the xiangyun and the zhanchi 2018 but with more well deserved hype it coulda been used today like the valk in 2020-2021

The YiSheng 3x3 M. It's the closest thing to the Valk you can get, and is currently my main. (Yes I know it says modded Valk but it basically is a modded Valk. Hush
I dont know where you get this ¯\(°_o)/¯

I added the YiSheng 3M on an order from TheCubicle @ $7.99 and it is pretty decent with a Moyu-ish compression adjustment ring in the centers...
But it doesn't feel like or perform like a Valk3M and it has different shades than the Valk3M... it is also 56.5mm which is whole mm bigger than the Valk3M...

I gave it away... to somebody who didn't have a cube, so at least they have something better than a Rubik's brand lol

Underrated cube: Dayan GuHong v3 ... its $15 has real nice shades (kinda similar to the Valk3M)) and it corner-cuts over 50° and over 30° reverse
