Hey SS Forums! I have a lot of cubes that I favor even though they might not be too mainstream. I mean, GAN this, MGC that, X-Man here, Moyu there, it's all just those brands. Let's share some good cubes that not everybody uses.

My personal favorite underrated cubes:
The YiSheng 3x3 M. It's the closest thing to the Valk you can get, and is currently my main. (Yes I know it says modded Valk but it basically is a modded Valk. Hush)
The Qiyi MS 2x2. Everyone gets the MGC 2x2 as the budget option, but it has a really nice soft feel that I love. It is also great out of the box and even better with setup.
YJ Zhilong Mini 4x4. I know it's not really that underrated, but it's so good. It's basically a smaller, cheaper MGC 4x4 and great for smaller hands.
Qiyi Thunderclap V3. Yes, I know everyone hates it. Shut up. It's good with setup and feels quite premium for ten bucks if that's all you care about.

Please add more cubes that you love!

Everyone has an opinion. Im just now starting to get into 6x6, and I feel this one suits me. And again, the size is great for me.
You would have been much better off even getting something like a Yushi V2 (which is cheaper, better, and magnetic), but ok. Won't change the fact the the G6 is horrible compared to anything actually usable.

To you it may be horrible. Yes, I like the MGC, but this cube fits my needs nicer. Plus, it was free from a friend of mine, who also likes it.

I won't argue with you, but keep in mind that's you wont enjoy 6x6 nearly as much with the G6 as you would with something better. It's not really underrated because the performance sucks. I thought is was good too until I tried the $15 Yuxin Little Magic.

The Tianma is incredibly underrated. It's fast and has a crunchy feel which I really enjoy, without feeling uncontrollable(for me at least)
I main the moretry tianma x3 snap over uv wrm v9, uv ys3m, tornado v3… it really gives me confidence when spamming tps because of the insane reverse corner cutting over line to line.
honestly the aoyan skewb shouldnt have died so fast, it's still good
Aoyan skewb is still the 2nd best skewb on the market imo, way better than the weilong. Weilong and rs perform okay, but these just feel bad for me. Ofc gan is by far the best when it comes to skewb. Aoyan is still my backup as it corner cuts better than the wingys (even after I made my wingy v1 maglev) and feels reliable unlike the weilong and rs which are just too flexible for my likings.

Another underrated skewb is cyclone boys magnetic skewb. It was my very first magnetic puzzle back in the days when I didn’t even have a 2x2, and even though its not as gd as the aoyan and gans, it definitely feels a lot better than the weilong and rs. Comes in glossy plastic and primary internals and doesn’t feel budget at all like the weilong. Cyclone boys magnetic skewb is still the best budget skewb on the market imo.
YJ Zhilong Mini 4x4. I know it's not really that underrated, but it's so good. It's basically a smaller, cheaper MGC 4x4 and great for smaller hands.
YJ Zhilong Mini 4x4 M is by far the best 4x4 imo. A lot better than the mgc and meilong 4M, and on par with the aosu wrm if not better. The yj mini 4x4 has a good speed both inners and outers, and has a really nice 3x3 stage. I quite like the meilong 4M as well but the corner cutting isn’t as great and it catches on me quite a bit. The mgc 4x4 is just too huge and heavy for me, even heavier than my main megaminx & 5x5. I main the YJ Zhilong Mini 4x4 M, and I believe its by far the best 4x4 out there after trying every top 4x4s mentioned above.
The Qiyi MS 2x2. Everyone gets the MGC 2x2 as the budget option, but it has a really nice soft feel that I love. It is also great out of the box and even better with setup.
Qiyi MS 2x2 is my backup and I main the mgc elite. Even though the corner cutting isn’t that great, the turning just feels so nice. It’s very light and turning feels effortless and my fingers won’t get tired even after Ao1000.

Some other underrated puzzles:
X-Man Bell v2 Pyraminx M. Every other top pyraminxes have problems like Rubbiks tips, instability, speed, weight…
The X-Man Bell v2 Pyraminx M is just so good, fast and smooth while remaining stable, good weight and decent tips. Overall very balanced and performs extremely well. I have every other top pyraminxes on the market, but only the ylm comes close, but I still prefer the X-Man Bell v2 Pyraminx M over the ylm, and ylm is my backup.
DaYan GuHong v3 M. Not talking about 3x3 as it just not work with both hands. However, it’s the best mid range option for OH imo. 54mm in size, good M slices and fast turning, and it’s extremely smooth. My OH back up as I’m maining the UV Coated gan mini M Pro for OH.
