Seattle Tacoma Informal Competition

[Grayson]

All:

I've started a group over at Meetup.com dedicating to finding people and organizing fun and informal speedcubing get-togethers in the Seattle and Tacoma area. Check out the group and let us know if you are interested!

It's at:

Bleh, tacoma? For a Seattle-lite who can't drive yet, i don't think my parents would be too cool with driving 30min-1hr (you know those commutes ) for....cubing

I would be happy to meet in downtown though (somewhere not sketchy preferrably)

But I have a couple of friends not on the forum who would also be interested

I'll be gone for a month on Thursday, but if it's after August 23rd, then I'll be able to go. But, the thing is, I'm no good, I average a minute on 3x3. Don't even ask about my 4x4 and 5x5 times.

We're all here to improve, no?

And besides, it would be cool if we could get on the local news when we get big enough

I was totally wondering to myself today whether or not there were any people around WA who were speed cubers lol. If anyone is down to have a little informal meet around Tacoma, I'm totally down.

I am employed in Tacoma but don't meet random internet weirdoes.
C'est la vie.

So there aren't many people in the Tacoma/Seattle area that are willing to meet up?
