HELP!

Well i've been waiting a month for and 2 days ago I finally got my new DIY from vipdealing on eBay, on the first day I assembled it and it was pretty good, but then
last night it kept popping on my red face. Today I found out it was my red face and that it kept getting loose if you U primed when it was the U face. anyway anyway to stop the screw loosing up?

I had the same problem with my Edison Cube as well.

Just replace the core of the cube with something else.

If you don't have any spare cores then I'd recommend buying one of these cores :

MHZ Set

or

Maru Set

I had the same problem on my Edison and the problem was that I was missing a spring on the loose face. I would check to make sure the spring is indeed in the face. If it is you could just glue the screw in place, but this defeats the purpose of having a DIY. I just think that is probably a bad screw, so you would get a new screw and spring set. Heck, you could swap out the screw from Rubik's brand cube which you might own and see if the screw fits. This could fix the problem if this is the case and you wouldn't have to pay anything. Hope I helped :)

Edit: Ben, if the screw is the problem a new core isn't the reason your problem is fixed. It probably had something to do with the connection of the screw to the core.

Or you can try putting some superglue on the end of the screw. I did this with my guhong that was having the same problem. Problem fixed. I used loctite brush on superglue that I found in staples. Jush brush some glue at the end of the screw and screw it back in. Make sure you tention it back to the tention of your liking.

Superglue works but then you can't adjust it if you need to. So what I did was I put some Teflon tape on the screw. That way you can still adjust it.
