Rubik's magic broken string question

A couple of weeks ago one of my magic strings broke, just wondering if it's possible to fix it.
Seen a tutorial on making your own, but I would rather just fix mine ^^

just make another. it's impossible to fix well. and besides, fishing line works better for me then the regular strings

if it broke, then you just need to pull the string out. It won't be as stable, but it'll work.
of course, it's better to just make/buy another string
