Review of Main 3x3 Cubes & Clarification of the Naming of the Alpha Series

So this Alpha thing...

So there are these Type A cubes. And as far as I'm concerned, there are the:

Alpha I
Alpha II
Alpha II-F
Alpha III
Alpha III-F
Alpha IV
Alpha V
Alpha V-F
Alpha CC
Alpha CCII (CC2?)
Alpha Micro Memory
And then there's those mini cubes that no one cares about

Questions
Which are mainstream (like the ZhanChi) and which are special, or separate (mini Zhanchi), like not part of the main line of products?
Is this all of them?
What is so special about the "-F" cubes?
The Micro Memory is a copy (sort of) of the HaiYan puzzle, right?
What is different with the "CC" versions?
And most importantly: Which ones are discontinued? I don't put cubes on my store that are out of production.

Thanks! :p

EDIT: Oooooops! I didn't realize that this forum wasn't for questions. Please someone move it if possible?

You forgot the Gans III. That's an Alpha cube.

Are you absolutely certain? I see no mention whatsoever of Alpha on the box or the instructions guide.
Gans Puzzle is a different company. You're right.
I'm quite sure. Same guy.
Same guy different company
Alpha CC III, and Haiyan's cube was made by Alpha. (Alpha VI)
I believe you're right about the CCIII but Haiyan's cube is not the Alpha VI

Thanks for the forum link! But I dunno if it made it more confusing or less :p
Have you tried actually asking the company that produces them? I'm sure they could give you much more complete answers, and without wasting everyone's time.
WHERE!? How?

Sorry for grave-digging again!

This thread should be updated! These reviews are pretty good.

Help with Alpha

I know that I've asked something similar to this, but I will tell you now that it is NOT THE SAME.

So here it is...

I now have most of the Alpha puzzle list thanks to prev. post.

Alpha I
Alpha I-F *DISCONTINUED*
Alpha II
Alpha II-F
Alpha III
Alpha III-F
Alpha IV
Alpha IV-F *DISCONTINUED*
Alpha V / Haiyan's Cube: Memory
Alpha V-F

But, this list is incomplete. Here is what I think I know:

Haiyan's Cube
Alpha CC
Alpha CCII
Alpha CCIII

Questions:

Is there a Haiyan's Cube V2 (V3, V4, etc.)?
Is there an Alpha CCIV (CCV, etc.)?
which one of the Haiyan's/Alpha CCs are discontinued? any?
Any other's missing?

Another thing...

From what I can tell of the CC's pictures, the side cubies aren't actual cubes, but rectangle-shaped ones.

Is this true?
Does this alter the main mechanics of the cube?
And lastly, if not, what is the difference between the main line and the CC series?

Thanks! Sorry, just trying to get my plan for my cube collection done.

Types of Cubes 3X3x3

I don't know if there is another discussion about this subject.

But I really would like know the real differences between a different types of cubes... I couple months ago I tried buy different types of cubes to test, but I don't where can I buy this different cubes and the answers I have got on the Internet are not even satisfactory.

Therefore. I would like know more about a types of cubes like Type A, AII, AIII, B, C, D, E, F, and more. Somebody knows the differences? Somebody can explain to me the differences? Where can I get this different types of cubes to test? I tried in many sites but I haven't got...

Thanks.

Best regards.
