relubing with different lube

Well most Silicone Lubricant Sprays should work. Some don't work well, so be careful.

Jig-a-Loo and CRC are just one of the most popular ones, so there are other ones that work well too.

If you have something you want to lubricate your cube with, just ask us about it and we'll try our best to give you some advice.

Ya feel free to ask us about any thing but remember to use the search function!!!!

When I got my v5 I lubed it with jig-a-loo, moved the cube around a bit, and then sprayed it with CRC which made it extrememely hard to turn (I already knew this would happen from past experiences) and then it starting turning very nicely...one week later and bam! It was even better after i lubed it one more time xD

it broke?
Why did you say 'Bam'?

lol, given the context, I think he meant "bam!" as in, "all of a sudden!" ...as in, suddenly amazingly smooth, and then even better after a second lubrication (correct me if I'm wrong, of course).

Since CRC and Jig A Loo (to the best of my knowledge) are both dry lubricants, it should be fine... don't quote me on it though!

In any case, I went from using some vaseline-esque substance, to some hair serum which (IIRC) has silicone, to CRC, and experienced minimal adverse effects (granted I was willing to experiment more as it was a store-bought). There was some mild erosion, but I'm going to write that off as the CRC propellant, the corrosive effects of which are well-established.

In short, switching up your lubricant a lot shouldn't harm your cube too much, if at all.
