Red vs Pink

I swapped over to Pink a while back after seeing the pink in Chris' videos. I also changed blue for Purple as it gives a better contrast with all the other colours.

I find the pink looks like red in very low light, but still contrasts with the orange

I have both of those colors (plus lighter orange) on my yeuxaio too.

Standard Moyu color scheme with fluorescent yellow switched out for a standard yellow is both aesthetically pleasing and quite good for recognition. I also don't have any trouble with recognition on my stickerless Aosu, but it's just not as pretty as that color scheme on my black cubes: Thunderclap, SS 5x5, and Aoshi.

why would it help? what's the argumentation? Does it have to do with colorblindness? i have no trouble differentiating red from anything, so i don't see it.

As I colourblind person I can confirm that red is often confused with green when one has a red-green deficiency.

I changed my Red to a Light Purple (Lilac), because I hated the way the dark red looked with my bright color scheme, And Since then, after 10 solves to get my recongnition back, I've been solving just the same, or even maybe better, than other cubes. I might try replacing it with a darker purple or pink, but I like the way my blue contrasts with my orange
