I personally haven't tried this, but I was wondering if anyone else has gone Chris Olsen and put pink on their cubes. I was wondering if this really does help with recognition.

why would it help? what's the argumentation? Does it have to do with colorblindness? i have no trouble differentiating red from anything, so i don't see it.

The only reason I can think of is if you're at a comp than your pink cubes are more unique and thus you're less likely to get them mixed up with someone else's cube.

In low lighting sometimes it is hard to differentiate between opposite colors. I think pink is even farther away from orange so it would help recognition.

I swapped over to Pink a while back after seeing the pink in Chris' videos. I also changed blue for Purple as it gives a better contrast with all the other colours.

I find the pink looks like red in very low light, but still contrasts with the orange

Nice as they look, I will never be tempted to switch to a non-standard colour scheme, because I know from that day on I would never be able to buy a cube without having to waste an hour restickering it. And imagine the horror for big cubes or multiblind...

I'd rather buy a new cube than go through the pain of restickering one. My Weilong was retired after part of it got sun bleached.

I ordered some pink stickers don't know yet...
Also I don't have problems with red stickers but I do have a problem with some stickerless cubes like yuxin and cyclone boys, with poor light conditions the red and orange confuse me.

I like red. The only colors that I have some trouble with are white/yellow in low light. I'm considering changing white to black on white plastic and maybe changing the yellow on black plastic...

My Dianma now lives, over-tightened, in a toy box as temptation for my 3-year-old in case she might be destined to become the next cubing prodigy. If it works, it will have fulfilled its potential more than any other cube I own...
I'd love my son to beat Chan Hong Lik's little sister's record but he has less than a year to go. He will do the odd turn but much prefers throwing them. Especially down hills.

I was thinking about buying a pink Aosu because it looked really nice (pastel color scheme). Although I can't really see myself using pink for 3x3.

It's easy to adjust to but I don't think it really helps that much if any. The only issue I have with the stickerless is that although the pink is nice the green they use is really light and kind of see-through at times.
