Hiya guys,

I just collected my black Type A and my Diansheng from the post office this morning.

I have just got round to sorting out my diansheng. At first iot seemed really bad but once I loosened the screws and lubed it its a really fast cube. When I was working in the lube 5 of the corner caps (the pieces that are on on the sides of the corner) have come loose and fallen off.

Is it worth putting these corner caps on with some glue of some sort or will this not effect the performance of the cube at all?

Im not 100% sure on this so don't take my word for it, but i have heard that the caps aid in cutting corners. If anyone thinks differently please post because im not 100% sure im right.

yea, I have that same problem with the painted one, the one with the loose corner caps.

Wait, so I wait for the glue to dry before putting them back on? What does that do? make it a tighter fit?

Where do I apply the glue.

Yep it makes it a tighter fit, some people use this method on their screws if they face the problem of loosening screws.

If I'm not wrong, you should put it on the sides of the cap, make sure you don't get any on the surface that will rub on the other pieces of the cube or the cube might be ruined.

u can actually do without the corner caps.
if you want, just glue it back to the corner and wait for it to dry before putting it back into the cube. if some of the glue leaks out and harders, you can just sand it off

did some research (youtube) apparently the painted ones are model # 568-15 and the nonpainted are # 568-7

#568-7 is much better. much much much better. and you dont need to worry about corner caps.

but definitely glue the caps in. i tried it w/o on mine and it was a lockup bananzaa
