what i would do is insert the green edge into the bottom and just align the top layer and flip the cube upside down and do a T PERM

No, it broke about a week ago, so I glued it back together, and it worked for a little while. But the glue couldn't take it anymore, so it broke. I have another one, but it sucks. It's a qiyi 2x2, it's super loud and always locks up.
