Quick tips on skewb

get better lookahead. maybe you could learn H and Z perm. just 2 more algs. everyone hates H perm though.

maybe you shouldn't listen to me as I only know some of sarah's intermediate and usually use beginners. but i know H and Z and also some other algs such as the cases in the meep method. and i usually average 12s. i used to full intermediate but then my lookahead was bad so i switched back to beginners and that was faster.

H alg I use: Sledge y2 Hedge y2 Sledge
Z alg I use: R' L R' L' U' L' U L R'

ive seen videos saying how to avoid H perm as much as possible but I don't go much in depth with that.

Practice your finger tricks, and learn to perform sledge and hedge from both the front and back (avoiding y2). Take your time planning your layer, and try to predict the corner orientation case during inspection for easy layers. That and lots of practice will get you to sub 8.
