Question regarding AoLong v2 batches

So, I'm fairly sure I have a "bad" batch because a. the cube is not nearly as fast as my v1 and b. it doesn't have a glossy plastic finish. However, it came in the box with the window and such, which I've heard is the indicator for it being a new batch.
I'm really not sure.

I'm in the same situation, but the v2 is still my main. I believe it is just as fast, and it's just the feel that's making you think that it is slow, unless you really got the first batch.

Mine doesn't have the glossier plastic either, nor does LACuber when he did his unboxing on the new batch
