Let's say I just took out all of my cubies from a scrambled cube and started a timer, then I will stop the timer after the cube is solved. Which method of assembling the cube (so that it is solved) would be faster?:

A. Place the cubies in the correct positions, so almost no turning is required.

B. Place the cubies in any position, solve the cube and fix any parities by popping out the necessary cubies and placing them back in (if a single corner needs twisting, you can just twist it in its current position without popping out any pieces, if your cube is loose enough). (Let's say your 3x3x3 avg is...10-20 seconds)

Depends how the cubies are organized, if they're just in a pile B is faster (since you can assemble without having to find pieces) but if they are carefully laid out A is faster (since you can assemble in <20 seconds).

Why do you make so many threads? :P

I'm gonna do some averages with A and B tomorrow :) (It's almost 5am here and my family are sleeping :p)

I make so many threads to help keep this forum interesting and keep myself interested (as well as other people interested) ;)
