My recent PB had an OLL skip going into my favorite PLL, the Ua perm (I use the RUS alg). That's a 1 in 216 chance for the OLL skip, and a 1 in 18 chance for the Ua perm, making my sub-1 second last layer a 1 in 3,888 chance. Just thought that was pretty cool.

Does anybody know how to calculate the number of cases/algorithms to get from a scrambled 2x2x2 cube to half-turn reduction in a single step?
