Hi, last week i got my first order from Tribox: a cuople of Edisons ans Joys. The cubes come prelubed. I ask Takafumi what kind of lube use in the cubes because i found that the cubes turn very well. Takafumi answered that uses "G-Lub 10M", i did some research and i found that thing is Liquid Grease and only can be found in China. I dont want to buy that thing but since i use 20 wt shock oil to lube my cubes i was wonder if i have to clean the cubes before i put shock oil in order to lube the cubes. Anyone have similar experiences with your prelubeb Tribox cubes?

It is always a good idea to clean out the cube before 're-lubing' whether or not you are actually using a different lubricant. A lot of the time giving your cube a thorough clean makes quite a big difference, but I say yes; clean out your cube. It's not all that time consuming.

I haven't bought a lubed cube from Tribox but from RubikFans, I was basically in the same situation as you. I cleaned it out partly because I do that anyway but also because I don't want to start mixing chemicals.

Thanks. BTW which method do you use to clean the cubes from rubikfans? i ask this because prelubed rubikfans cubes also come with a liquid/wet lube.
