SS Competition Results
I have a comp coming up this Saturday, and for the past YEAR i have had my own practice schedule and have broken MANY PRs with it,
here it is!
Sunday: TPS solves (turn fast for all solves that day)
Monday: Normal solves
Tuesday: Normal solves
Wednesday: Drill PLL and/or OLL + Normal solves
Thursday: untimed, passive slow solves (NO STACKMAT/CSTIMER)
Friday: No touching cube except for packing/transport, NO TURNING. Watching monkey league will help you
Car ride: warm up without timing on all events

And BOOM, get those PRs!

I would train on Friday
(By training F2L and simulating the comp)
Good point, but seeing as I am about to compete I, and many top speedcubers prefer to rest the fingers for better solves, and less burnout during the comp, ESPECIALLY if it's multiple days, it honestly helps you a ton when you compete

I think a good thing to do THURSDAY night is to review all new algorithms that you’ve learned since competing last. Do these algs very slowly and don’t do any full solves during this practice. On Friday put a blindfold on and execute all algs without looking
Thats a good idea for thursday, but thursdays are more for F2L, algs are for wednesday

funny how i also rest from cubing a whole day before the comp

although im not so strict and allow myself to touch the cube occasionally

Here's the schedule that I use for weekly practice:

Mon: Cross & inspection, use unlimited inspection time to plan the entire cross and try to plan the first pair.
Tue: F2L practice, do untimed solves focusing on efficiency. Rebuild same pair 2–3 ways to find best solution.
Wed : Timed session, track average time and note pauses.
Thu: Last layer, Drill 2-look OLL + PLL using an alg trainer (Jperm.net or csTimer).
Fri: Lookahead by doing slow solves (TPS < 2 turns/sec). Try to limit pauses.
Sat: Mixed, alternate timed and slow solves.
Sun: Casual solves, and I watch tutorial videos (JPerm, Cubehead, etc.) for tips.

That's a good idea, but this is for pre comp schedules
