I get the feeling you're just thinking of a particular example of the butterfly effect, like where a butterfly causes a storm or something. *That* is just an example of the *general* butterfly effect, which is what the linked to article is about.

I havent had a PLL Skip in a long time like more than 100 solves. I know CFOP and I know the 2look OLL and the one look PLL. Is a reason I havent had a PLL Skip in a long time. Because I use to get it all the time

U will very rarely get a pll skip. Must have been the way u scrambled it.

It *is* possible, but the balance of probability is SOOOOOOO far on the side of him lying/ being wrong.

P(no PLL skips in 100 solves) = 100C0 * (1/72)^0 * (71/72)^100 = (71/72)^100 ~= 0.247

So it's not that unlikely to have no PLL skips in 100 solves.

Wow one of the weirdest things just happened i normally solve the white cross first but i decided to switch and start the cross on the yellow and do oll and pll on the white side and i get a one look oll instead of my normal two look and a pll skip and get my pb of 17.19sec which i normally i am sub 30 but not sub 20. Got to love the pll skips

I actually prefer OLL skips to PLL skips because at the moment I use 2LOLL for the most part, so it shaves a lot of time off my solves. Not to mention that I knwo full PLL and I'm very fast with 17/21 of them.
