So ive been thinking lately that The Beginners Method thats universally taught in all its variation is basically a very simplified version of Freidrich.

And so i was wondering is there a way to simplify petrus or roux such that a beginner could learn it as easy as the Freidrich method?

Ive decided that a lot of the reason there are not more Erik Johnosons out there are because everyone gets shoved into Freidrich and that petrus could in fact prove to be a much faster method if we could get more people into it.

So any ideas on how to set up a beginner petrus method?

EDIT: This is meant for someone whos never solved the cube before and is just now learning

Is this in the right section?

On topic: I've come to discover, for me at least, that teaching a beginner the Petrus method is insanely difficult. Usually beginners don't grasp the idea of individual pieces right off the bat, which makes it hard for them to match up pieces to form blocks. The LBL method is easy because of its memorization of algorithms. It allows the person to think less, per se, during the solve. I taught a kid in my class at school both the Petrus and the LBL method, and he really has a difficult time with block building.
