Parity on a 4x4?

OLL is when the cube is solved, but one edge is misoriented and needs to be flipped around. PLL parity is when two edges are correcly oriented and need to be swapped. Double parity is when you have both parities at the same time, but recognition is more advanced. There is a 50% chance of getting OLL parity and 50% chance of PLL parity. Therefore double parity only happens 25% of the time and you get a oarity "skip" 25% of the time. Parities can't happen on the 3x3 and do on 4x4 because there is not fixed position for the centers and whether or not you do an odd or even amount of moves, you may get parity. Check out CrazyBadCuber's tutorial on Youtube for a good beginner tutorial. Parities may seem complex, but it's pretty easy to learn.
