so...

What style of music do people in the pacific listen to?
What is there music like for special occasions. What is this music (bongo or something?)
What are most of their songs about, like how are they meaningful?

Ok, since Philippines is I think part of the Pacific, and plus I am from the Philippines, I think could share a little about our music. Most of our music is consist of love songs, that's one common thing about our music. We Filipinos also love to listen to a happy music, novelty songs, and the songs that are "catchy" to our ears and easy to recall, I guess that's it. "Love songs, Novelty songs." I hope it helps.
