Shouldnt They make a solve where you have to solve the cube as many times as you can while holding your breath.

Who is "they"? Why don't you try it and make a video? Why can't you use a question mark? Why do you keep making such pointless threads?

You might want to lurk a little bit more before you make another thread.

I just did it. I solved 3 cubes in 1:12.92. I average 18 seconds but the problem is you have to concentrate on the cube uses more oxegen, move your hands uses more oxegen, and think uses more oxegen. I can hold my breath for 2 minutes but you get nervous thus using more oxygen.

And my only breath was before the time started.

Dumb idea, because those overweight would generally hvae a harder time, therefore it wouldn't be fair to them

Poor argument. Holding your breath (for lack of better terms, I'll say 'lung capacity' although I'm sure this isn't the right usage here) is something that can be trained/exercised/made better with practice.

I've also read that being physically fit helps your reflexes. Guess we better discount all speedsolve events too, since overweight people would have a harder time there.

When I was in health class (8 or so years ago?), our definition of obese was anybody with more than 10% body fat. Dictionary.com doesn't put a specific amount that one has to be, to be obese, but I have a feeling you've seen some obese people at a competition, it just doesn't seem like it because your perception of obese is different. I suppose a lot of that would be perceptual, anyway.

I knew you were saying it'd discriminate against overweight people, I was just saying it was a poor argument. I wasn't saying "oh they can lose weight," I was saying "Oh they can practice holding their breath like everyone else can."
