can someone suggest a good website to learn these concepts from? and if possible, a website that tells you algorthims instead of all those letters/numbers and stuff?
Letters and numbers are the easiest form of notation for cubing. Learn it now rather than thinking you can do without it, because it quickly becomes invaluable when learning more algorithms and scrambling your cube.
Bob Burton has videos of him executing all of his algorithms; this should help if you really, really don't want to learn notation.
The concept -
OLL- Makes the face opposite the cross a solid color w/ or w/o affecting permutation of the pieces.
PLL- Moves the pieces around without affecting orientation.
