Hi!

I've been posting a lot on the forums for months now, but still feel really disconnected from the people on here, and I also never did a member introduction. So here goes:

My name is Chad, and I am a 24 year old graduate student at a Baptist Seminary in North Carolina. I've been married for a little over 2 years now, but cubing for about 7. I wasn't sub-20 until I picked up my cube again last June and was suddenly sub 19, and am now almost sub-15.

I don't care for much other than 3x3 except for 4x4 occassionally. 2x2 just seems trivial and i've never really enjoyed it. FMC is nice though. I plan on attending US Nats this year and hope to meet many of you there, and put some faces to the usernames I've been seeing around here.

I suppose that's it, and I'll continue posting as always!

Hi Chad! i also find non-3x3 events somewhat boring

are you color neutral? what 3x3 method do you use? do you know all the algs for it? have you tried one-handed?

what is your FMC record/average? what strategies do you know?

Hello!

No, I am not color neutral, but I am dual-cross CFOP (white/yellow). I still think I could be; you know how you hit the sweet spot during practice and are getting a bunch of times that are like all PB? well if i see like a green cross that isnt too bad, I can usually go for it and get sub-global average times with it. but then i'll intentionally do a bunch of green/blue cross solves and barely be sub-20, if that.

I do know all of the algs for CFOP! I am currently extending that list by learning full COLL, some ZBLLs, and the project I'm working on will hopefully result in me generating full OLS (a long time from now), so I'm learning some of those too.

As far as FMC goes, I only do a solve or two when I'm tired of speedsolving, so no average or anything. I'm definitely sub-40 global for it, and I can use NISS, pre-moves, insertions, ZZ EO, Petrus, but need practice with all of them. I tried learning some Heise back when I was more into it, but I never really got the hang of it. I know you're a Heise guy, so maybe you could give me some pointers.

And last but not least, I hate one-handed lol.
