[Unofficial] Nghia BLD 3x3 1:47.44

Man, that was Great! I was actually happy when I just that much time to remember the cube. Can't understand how you're doing it.

Very awesome! But you had a lot of long pauses in there - my sub-2 had substantially fewer pauses. What that means is that you will probably be able to get sub-1:30 very easy, while that will probably be a very hard goal for me to achieve. It looks to me like you have the potential to be a top BLD solver!

Hey Inusagi, thank you very much ! For the memo, I use some kind of "Person-Object" system to memorize the stickers and the persons are mostly my friends or people/characters I know well, the objects are simply objects that go with them. I think it leaves me more freedom to imagine the "action" part.
I think that it's because of my regular BLD practice that I got this good at memo :p
But this was a lucky case, so in normal cases, I'd take around 1min to memorize.

oh Mike, thank you so much for those kind words ! This solve has consequently less pauses than my normal solves, especially when I must handle parity or some hard corner permutation cases...
I will keep practicing, and try to think ahead while performing an algorithm, thank you very much indeed.

My next goal will be sub-2 average ! I believe you have the same goal, right :p?

what method is it? The solve is pretty impressive.

Hi fanwuq, thanks for your support ! I currently cycle stickers (I won't use the word "freestyle" because I only perform U-perms) for the edges, and for the corners, it's Orient then Permute.

Actually, I'm still working on a sub-3 average. :( But I know that now that I'm using M2 edges, 3OP corners, that my first successful average of 10 (11 out of 12 successful solves) will beat that nicely - I'm guessing my next successful average will be 2:45 or less, which is about a minute better than my current best average.

Really, eliminate the pauses on that solve and you would definitely be sub-1:30. Probably sub-1:20. That says to me that sub-1 is probably quite attainable for you. But I'm still doubting I could ever get there. If I get sub-1:30 I'll be elated.
