Im not sure if this has method is decent or if it has been created already. It is a combination of guimond and ortega.

Step 1: Make face using opposites (red, orange), (white, yellow), (green, blue)

Step 2: Oll

Step 3: formulas using double turns (ie. R2) and u/d. (this is from guimond)

R2 U2 F2 R2 U’ R2 R2 U’ R2 U’ R2

(sorry no pics above - they did not upload properly)

Step 4: PBL using ortega algs

Let me know what u guys think :)

This is in the wiki already: Ortega-style OLL

I thought of this myself before and thought it was good, so you're not alone.
I now think that Guimond is just so much more efficient that this method is only really worth using if your scramble only requires no more than 1 or two moves to do the first step. I use it sometimes if this is the case.
