Need need help assembling a yj mgc elite 2x2

Hi everyone my name is Herman I am new to the community. I just got into cubing I can solve beginners method. I also got a yj mgc elite 2x2 and I got brave because I had recently gotten a hair cut and some of the loose hair I felt had gotten inside the cube because of the sound it was making when I turned the puzzle so I released the tension on one side and when I finally got it to fit the corner piece in after struggling w the inner pieces I tightened it and when I went to turn the puzzle it only turns on one axis I notice the screw that used to be visible one the opposing axis moves doesn’t stay in place what do I do to resolve this issue.
