7:09 6x6 Single!
Also, I use a weird center pairing method for 6x6, for me it works faster than bars, can someone critique?
Pair 2x2 block in middle (similar to 4x4)
finish the 2x4 par across the middle
rotate the layer and do outer bars
one technique (like this) is to solve centers by forming a middle and then adding to it...
loke your 2×2 in the moddle, you can add 1×2 on one side then a 1×3 and a 1×4 to finish that center
This is also viable for 7×7, for a long time I would form a 3×3 in the middle, add a 1×3, then a 1×4, and finish with a 1×5...
of course it depends on what you see that you have on fromt of you during a solve, sometimes it would be a 4×4 already made in the center so I would add more 1×4's until a 1×5 finishes it...
Unless you see plenty of ready made pieces for making 1×5's to form a centervgrouped together, I would recommend doing smaller sections bcoz they are easier and faster to make.
It is also fine (and prob a good idea) when you qre solving the first center to go ahead and add a bar to the opposing center if its there and/or quick and easy, plus it gets it out of the way so it helps lookahead
I often do first center on top or on left, so its pretty easy to do that by just throwing the made bar on the opposite side and move on to finish first center
