Hey, everyone. I'm pretty new here, but I think some of you may be interested in seeing the new Shengshou cubic 7x7. It arrived today by DHL express from Champion's cube store, and I ordered it about a week ago. I made a video HERE, even though there's not really that much to say about it. It's also my first unboxing video, so go easy on me, I'm a total noob haha... If you have questions, please do ask. It might make up for the video.
Also, did anyone else in the United States order and receive one yet, or did my constant camping of the website pay off, making me one of the first?

Unrelated, I really wish it could have arrived yesterday so that people would think it was an April Fool's joke until they watched the vid haha it would have been like a DOUBLE-JUKE YO ANKLES April Fool's prank.

I would get some if I could... I'm not going to because Verdes Innovations is pretty against the production, selling, and purchasing of KO's. Even if the product is a major improvement they don't like it.

I can see that people who hate pillowed puzzles will switch to this (Dan Cohen and others?)

Perhaps... People with large hands will solve these large cubic puzzles with ease. I found the 8x8 uncomfortable because I couldn't reach each layer without readjusting my grasp of the cube... For example if you hold a big cube (no dirty puns plz), and your thumb can't touch your other thumb underneath... or if your index (or middle) fingers don't touch all around the cube... you have to re-grasp for better layer alignment. It just happens that pillowed cubes have a smaller circumference. I can still grasp the 8x8 if it's cubic, but there's very limited room.

Izovire - Yeah, it is a little uncomfortable for me, but so is the pillowed 7x7. That's why I was really hoping it was going to be smaller, around the 6x6's size. I'll survive though.

MisterChris - I appreciate it, maybe I'll make more in the future

ressMox - I have a strange knack for having strange and unintentional humor, especially when I'm tired

MostEd - The 8x8 is really the best comparison, but out of those two, I would say that it feels a lot more like the 6x6.
