Hey,

I've been practicing the following PLLs, during normal solves, for the past year or so now and find that some of them seem to be slow.

H Permutation
UR2U2R2U2R2U'R2U2R2U2R2
22 QTM or 12 HTM
3.85 seconds
5.71 QT/s or 3.11 HT/s

J Permutation (Left)
r'U2rBr'U2RU'rBR'
13 QTM or 11 HTM
2.06 seconds
6.31 QT/s or 5.34 HT/s

J Permutation (Right)
RU2R'U'RU2L'UR'U'L
13 QTM or 11 HTM
2.00 seconds
6.5 QT/s or 5.5 HT/s

T Permutation
RUR'U'R'FR2U'R'U'RUR'F'
15 QTM or 14 HTM
2.92 seconds
5.13 QT/s or 4.79 HT/s

Z Permutation
r2R2'U'r'RU2r2R2'U2r'RUr2R2'
22 QTM or 14 HTM
2.84 seconds
7.74 QT/s or 4.93 HT/s

Can anyone suggest better algorithms or should I be happy with some of them?

Cheers,
Tim.

Cheers, I'll try to commit this H Perm to memory:

(r2 R2') U (r2 R2') U2 (r2 R2') U (r2 R2')

I was a bit wary about learning it because It's so similar to Z Perm.

In fact, muscle memory is telling me to do (r' R) at the second (r2 R2') for H Perm :-/

here is my PLL Doc i use

PLL Doc

2 others for Z:
M2U M2U MU2 M2U2 M U2 (U2 can be at the end or at the beginning)
or
(RUR')U(R'U'R')U(RU'R')U'(R2UR)U2

and i can't seem to get your left J working.
edit:it should be: x r'U2rBr'U2RU'rBR'

Right J is the same as T but then with RUR'F' at the beginning of the alg.

it depends a bit on wat hand you use. i use my right middle finger to turn M' so i like to use U'. because my left hand is free to do the U'. the U is a bit more difficult to do.

for the first J i use: (LU’)(R’U)(L’U2’)(RU’R’U2’R)
when you do this on a solved cube you will get it in the position i normally solve it.

Hmm, yeah ^_^ sorry about that. I was trying to convert the following:

(L' U2 L U L') U2 (R U' L U R') (Left Anti-Sune merged with Niklas)

to

x (r' U2 r B r') U2 (R U' r B R')

I find that a lot of the algorithms I learn I end up doing slightly differently when I'm trying to go really fast. :-P

yep, you're right
I do Ms with left ring/middle, so U is easy with right index:)
