I'm a total noob at pen spinning and instead of spending hours on a Google search, I'm hoping to ask you the basic questions. Did you just make all that up? If not, where did you learn? That pen looked like you added tape to it to make it weighted evenly, is this true?

No, it has a tip on each side with (most the time in my vid) clear grip to hold the tip on and for grippy end of pen stuff.

Lol yea they get pissed off at the constant, irritating noises of me dropping the pen every 5 secs (i'm a complete n00b at pen spinning).

lol the most fun is going around class and trading for peoples pens to make your own pen mods
