Monthly Method (not actually monthly)

So I was bored and so I decided to make a method development comp because none have been done in a while and I have the time. So for this comp, you can make a method for any puzzle. Here are the rules:
1. No joke methods: be a person of integrity
2. Alg genning is not a requirement
3. This says “competition” but it’s not really one. This is for fun and I advise you to be kind to other competitors and be friendly and creative together. We’re a community.
4. Try your best, and if you don’t think it’s good, then it’s fine. I’ve never made a method, and neither have a lot of cubers. Be proud in what you can do.

A method I developed for the physical 2x2x2x2 hypercube. I call it "Dimension Reduction Ortega". I don't have a detailed explanation or doc, but I can give you the outline:

1. Move purple and pink stickers away from U/D cells. Apply gyro.
2. Bring all purple/pink stickers to U/D cells. If parity: gyro, "4-move" fix, gyro back.
3. Bring all purple/pink stickers to R/L cells with gyro.
4. Sort purple to L, pink to R, reducing dimension.
5. Solve purple 2x2x2 with RKT. One half can be assembled on L, the other half temporary on R.
6. Solve pink 2x2x2 with RKT. If parity, fix it with "8-move" parity alg.

Gyro is: left-2x2-to-right, LyRx', right-2x2-to-left, Rx2, Bz2, Uy2, Rx2, which in overall is a z.
One possible "4-move" fix variant is: Lz', gyro, Lz'Rz, Ly, [Ix, [Lz, Ix]], Ly', LzRz', gyro, Rz.
"8-move" parity alg is: (Ix2, [Ly, Ix2], Ix2, [Lz, Ix])2.

I'm working on a tutorial that shows an example solve!
Fun thing is it will we a WRITTEN tutorial, with screenshots and text (rather than a youtube video).
More challenging, and who knows if it will be useful, but I like the idea.
 
I have decided that the submition deadline will be before August 17. You must have your method in the Google form by then for your method to be considered. I will test all of the methods and then post the leaders in these categories:
Creativity
Speed (duh)
And more that I’ll add later.
