My 4x4 cube exploded

I got this rubiks brand cube like 3 yrs ago and am trying to solve it when it explodes... how can I put it back together? my shenshou should come within like a month and I wanna be about to do it by then.

If i dont put the edges and corners in right place will it be unsolveable?

one of the 4 layers exploded, I'm missing 1 of the 4 centre thingys in trying to find it now, like I know in a 3x3 if i dont put edge or corner in properly cube becomes unsolvable, is this the same case for 4x4?

Yes, things can go in wrong, but if you're confortable taking the pieces out again you can always fix it near the end of a solve. However if memory serves me correctly, then the Rubik's 4x4 is easy to break by trying to remove pieces incorrectly... let me find a vid with a demonstration on how to do it properly....

Just FYI, a 4x4 is solvable as long as the corners are solvable.

yeah thats what im planning to do, and it will explode if I keep playing with it lol
