Haven't set it up yet or broke it in fully, but it's quite nice. It reminds me very much of another cube, I think I'm thinking of the 357. The plastic just feels the same way. This is a school cube so it's not fully broken in or set up, as mentioned before. Nice speed. It's fast enough to do algorithms but not too fast

Got this cube from cubezz.

Out of the box it was really nice, which caught me off guard. I bought it with a sticker less aolong, which was terrible out of the box (my other aolong was my main). It's smooth, fast and doesn't lock up. I can't say enough about it at this point.

It's easily my new main. I'm a mid 20s solver, so not terribly fast. I have a guanlong, sulong, yulong, aolong, zhanchi, gans 357, and hualong to compare to. After lubing the core and assembling with weight 1 on the pieces, it's great. Moderate tensions, I have no complaints. After about 50 solves it's just a pleasure to use.

Everyone knows the corner cutting, but others have called it slow, but mine is plenty fast. It's as fast or faster then my aolong with cx3 springs. The springs are totally different then my other moyu puzzles, gold color, longer, but lighter. Plus the plastic seems different, shinier?

Overall I really like it.

nice review.

Other than the weilong v1, I think moyu's 3x3 generally tend towards "medium speed" (as compared to thunderclap or the gans 357).

Edit:
I take that back. My tension for my weilong v1, hualong and aolong v2 (enhanced) were on a bit tighter tension (to avoid the occasional pop). I loosen it and now both 3 are sufficiently fast, with weilong leading the pack:

I think it is a good cube, though it is a little slow, but for other features, it is OK.

What would be the rating of speed for this cube? There are a lot of mixed reviews and comments on this part of the cube which is holding me back from getting one.

I really like it. The stock stickers are the best I've ever had on a cube. They are fitted so well that my recognition improved greatly in F2L allowing me to smash various PB's I'd been stuck at for half a year.

Pros:
- Very good cornercutting. Virtually no resistance in reverse cutting up to a cubie.
- Extremely controllable
- Very easy recognition on stock shades
- Can be sped up well with Maru lube etc.

Cons:
- Generally has a high-turn resistance, if you dislike these types of cubes then you should probably avoid, although note it is still very fast with appropriate lubrication.
- For me it seems to be very locky on PLL whereas other cubes are not. After ~1000 solves it still seems to be the case so it would not be my turn style.

Quite a smooth yet clicky cube, which I can only assume boils down to the frosting on the pieces. Has a turning speed that's fast, but slow enough to get an effective lookahead. Regular corner cutting is as expected: 45, maybe a little over if you're on loose tensions. Reverse is about 1/2 a cubie, nothing out of the ordinary. Comes with a very functional anti-popping mechanism as should be desired with most 3x3 puzzles these days. I've had about 1 corner twist in around 600 solves and frankly that's great. The squared-off corners really help prevent them. Overall it's a great cube. I'd really recommend it to anybody that's not insanely fast, or hasn't got optimal lookahead like myself.

Great review. I always get confused when I see things like this at the end since Keaton Ellis got his 5.09 solve with a TangLong and I would say he is "insanely fast."

Sorry, I'm not arguing your post but just using part as an bigger idea/question.

not much to say. I love this cube:
1. not fast, but feels fast as it is smooth. DEFINITELY doesn't feel sluggish and doesn't hinder solves
2. doesn't flex as long as you don't apply insane (relative to cubing) pressure to the cube. Shouldn't lock up even if you aren't the most accurate turner cuz it's stable and cubic (still gotta turn accurately though)
2. satisfying crunchy fluid feel
3. Not full corner cutting, it's pretty much easy 45 normal and 3/4 reverse on moderate tensions. But thats all you should ever need
4. LOVE THE PINK lmfao

I will say the speed of the cube WILL annoy some cubers who prefer fast cubes that don't give you feedback when you turn it (turning is very profound on this cube, just a preference). You FEEL like every turn is defiant and you can feel the force being applied.

This cube is amazing, but as usual it's not for everyone. my 2 cents
