MoYu AoSu sticker problem

So my AoSu has a problem where when I'm turning it with my right index finger, and only that finger, the stickier goes under my nail and it REALLY hurts because under my nail is sensitive. If I resticker it, will this problem go always? I think it's just because the stickers are slightly peeling a tiiiinyyyy but but I don't know. I have new sticker from the cubicle coming in maybe a week, but I have a competition in River Hill on Saturday (March 7, 2015, about 1.5 days from now) and I don't want this to happen at the comp. I've had this happen to me with other cubes a couple of times. I don't think it's a matter of stickers, it's your nails. I just trimmed my nails and then the problem went away.

Moyu stickers are traditionally thicker and sturdier so that they do not peel, but the adhesive that is used can cause them peel up slightly every now and then, causing the problem that you're having. Once you re-sticker with the cubicle stickers, this problem will go away.

But yeah, for River Hill you should just cut your nails really short.

Until high school I never got out of the habit of just waiting for my mom to tell me when my nails were too long before I cut them. Now my cube just tells me. I can't tell if that's pathetic or just nerdy.

Solve the cube faster than the hard cutoff for 4x4 (2 minutes). If you can't, you will not get to finish your solves. When you last posted about your 4x4 times, you were hoping for sub-4. I take it this means you've improved since then?

Taking Moyu stickers off with your nail is the worst idea ever, btw.

Not really what OP was talking about, but related. Hurts like hell.

Other Moyu sticker problems, the glue easily melts and causes stickers to turn in place sometimes. Also, the glue tends to stay on the cube instead the sticker when removing it, making irritating to replace stickers.
