What do you think about the new budget line from Gan, here are the first Fotos. I think it’s pretty exciting!

I have to say, the name is kind of cringe... I think it’s fine when they stick with their Chinese pin yin, but when they try to come up with a good English sounding name, it just doesn’t work. ‘Monster Go’ sounds weird, as does X- Man designs. But cool concept, nice to see Gan creating a sub brand for budget cubes!

a Pokedex or somewhere near you.
Looks interesting, there are features of the cube that is common to Gan's flagship cubes like honeycomb and stuffs. budget cube lines don't generally implement this kind of features. :0 looks like it can be potentially good. looking forward to a budget line by Gan.

edit : I wish the cube is cheap tho

I feel like it wouldn't be much benefit in having a separate cube with black for when you are learning first layer. (Especially for 2x2) Assuming it only comes in stickerless you would never use the cube again once you are done learning cross. Unless they come in a set of some kind. Or you get extra "stickered" pieces which you could then swap out, that would be cool.

A friend gave me an old guanlong that he turned into an "f2l trainer" which is similar to the cubes you are talking about. I found it useless since It was so easy to distinguish from f2l and non-f2l pieces. If you want to train your first layer then just do only the first layer on a regular cube, more realistic and familiar

I like the idea of a trainer cube, where it comes with all the pieces needed but also a bunch of black ones, that way you can just switch them out

Funny enough there's a game called Monster Go. I don't think GAN did their research.

Pokemon was originally known as Pocket Monsters, (the name got shortened because Pocket Monsters, while not trademarked in Japan(the origin of the game), was elsewhere. When I say shortened, I mean Poke = Pocket mon = Monsters.) Coincidence? I think not. They saw there was massive success with Pokemon Go, and decided to "discretely" copy it. Very smart Gan, but not smart enough.

Ehem...
No, they're just very good at copying things and making a profit.
