Modded SS 5x5 lock-ups?

I just modded my SS5 and I'm gettin horrible lock-ups. To the point I can't turn the cube. Did I not take enough off in the mod? Is it tension? The core and pieces were lubed w 30k diff oil. I tried tightening it but it gets super tight and doesn't want to turn.

mine was like that. you just need to break it in and lube it with maru lube.
