I originally learned LBL method and I average around a minute with it. I then started learning Petrus, gave up on that and switched to Fridrich. My question is, which would be faster?

cross -> f2l -> oll -> pll
or
2x2x1 -> 2x2x2 -> 2x2x3 -> f2l -> oll -> pll

Not quite sure where to go from this point, I enjoy Petrus f2l more but I'm beginning to believe that Fridrich f2l may be faster.

Thanks in advance for any and all advice.

(My first post, FTW!)

I've been playing with EOLine + Fridrich f2l. Not optimal in turns but interesting for speed/tps. The fact that you use only RULD and you know you won't have to rotate the cube and that you only look for 2 colors to find edges (kind of) makes it very more efficient. It also makes full use of the inspection time.

I know it cannot beat an X-cross approach but it still fun to play with it.
