MGC 4x4 issues

I recently completely deep cleaned my MGC 4x4 after it started to get slow, by washing the pieces and letting them air dry overnight and then assembling the cube and putting it in the heat for a few hours, and now, the cube's performance is very slow and gummy, and there is no lube in it.
Any suggestions?
Well, first of all I would highly suggest not using water to clean pieces, even if you're gonna let them dry up it's not a good idea. Just use a damp cloth instead, it works just as well in terms of cleaning the pieces and is a lot safer :) As far as why the performance is slow, it's because the mgc 4 is factory lubed pretty well. From my experience the factory lube was really fast as well. If you put in some thin silicone lube like weights 1-3 you should be totally fine, the cube should speed up after break in. Hope this helps
