I average around 3:20 and I have no idea how to get better
I have an mf8 mega and its pretty good
Im good at the last layer.
Does anyone have tips for solving the mega up to the last Layer?
My lookahead sucks- i mean theres so many places to search for pieces

I read on another thread someone said something like: "nobody knows better where you should improve than you do."
Sounds like your case. I guess you've just got work really hard on look ahead.
(Good luck, I'm terrible at Megaminx and don't get how people can do it quickly )

Meditate, while thinking about that.

Practice reduction on bigger cubes, to help with your F2L lookahead and really just

PRACTICE!!

go really slow and untimed ~12 solves a day for a while.

I will second this.

3 days ago I averaged 2:40 and I asked how to improve and jamsammey said to practice and do 30 solves a day. So two days ago I did 30 solves that day and yesterday I did 40 solves. I now average 2:15 with a 1:36 single that I got three hours ago. It really does come down to practice.

Also learn 2look oll and pll. It toke me two days to learn it and it helps a lot.
