Master Pyraminx (flat sided) finally released

It's significantly harder to turn than the normal pyraminx. I think it has a lot to do with there not being an alignment mechanism. You must be a little careful, otherwise pieces can come off (as I've had happen). It's definitely good enough to use as a puzzle. It looks amazing and it's fun.

Mine has never poped, maybe you have it very loose. I kind of agree with the alignment, but loose tensions made this problem more noticeable.

Got mine today and I'm stuck. What method are you guys using? I can solve a layer or everything but a layer but get stuck. I've tried and failed to create decent comms. Closest I've come was to leave a 3 edge cycle which I completely screwed up.

Does anyone know a way of cycling three centres on one of these? I can solve everything else up to this stage but can't for the life of me figure out this last bit.
They are equivalent to 4 Skewb corners if that helps (all floating or all fixed).

Ryan Minchin Cho has helped me out on Facebook
"With red (solved face) on bottom, R U R' U R U' R' U R U R', all wide turns
Then A regular 3 cycle, U moves little, R moves wide"
He's also done a tutorial that he says isn't great but does the job. I haven't watched it yet.

Does anybody make the master Pyraminx besides Meffert and Shengshou? I've heard the Meffert is terrible. I just got the Shengshou and it might literally be the worst puzzle I've ever owned. Feels like it's going to fall part if I look at it wrong and it locks up even when the layers are aligned. So terrible that I'm returning it :(

So do I have any other options? Any chance I just got a bad puzzle?

Mine are perfect. Take it apart and reassemble it to make sure there's not something out of place or wrongly adjusted.
