Luck is part of the game. It makes it interesting. Who wants to see the same people spamming TPS and getting the same times?

Since people get different times most of the time, does that mean they're lucky most of the time?

so say in rugby, the ball can bounce either way because of its shape, so say someone is running and the ball is thrown to their feet, it might bounce into their hands, or in the opposite direction, then if they go on to score a try (touchdown), they are not penalized for it, are they? just think about it.

+2 penalties for lucky solves? Are you kidding? Are we gonna require judges to ask what method the competitor's using, and to be familiar with it, so they can accurately tell if steps are skipped?

That's fine. Whatever TNoodle does is the WCA-official way to generate scrambles, by definition.

Yes. It's pointless to try and measure luckiness to establish some threshold.

To what extent? I'm assuming it basically means you can't get like a 1 move 2x2 scramble, or a cross skip for 3x3..
